Tryouts for the 2014-2015 Season 

Varsity 10/23 at 6pm-8pm

Jv 10/23 at 4-6pm

Freshmen 11/10 and 11/11 at 3-5pm

Things that must be done to tryout:

1.) Physical turned into Asb office and cleared prior to trying out.

2.) Be academically eligible. (2.0 or higher)

Please wear the following:

1. Basketball Clothes

2. Shoes

What we are looking for:

Great attitudes, strong work ethic and young men who want to be apart of something greater then themselves.

There will be no parents allowed at the Tryouts.

Troy Hs Summer Kick off Tournament

We have our first tournament of the summer at Troy Hs in Fullerton. Players should arrive at game 30 minutes prior to tip off.

Summer Camp Registration

Summer Camp Registration begins May 27 and ends June 20th. Summer Camp is for all Jv and Varsity basketball players planning on playing for the team for the 2014-2015 Season. It is also for all incoming 9th graders who are interested in playing basketball. The cost of the camp is $ 100 dollars and it begins on June 16 and goes through July 17

There has been a correction to the summer camps that are listed on the brochure.

Camp Times are as follows:

Freshmen (incoming 9th Graders)
June 16-July 17
Mondays thru Thursday
4-6pm

Jv/Varsity
June 17-July17
Tuesday and Thursdays
5-8pm

Summer Camp Brochure Sign Up Form fill out and return to Asb with your $100 dollars cash or money order. Registration begins May 27 and ends June 20 at the Asb office.

Physical Forms need to have a new physical on file regardless of when they got it. The school has set up for a physician to be there on June 3 at 2:30 in the wrestling room for $20 dollars. Form needs to be returned back to Asb with registration form

Banquet for 2013-2014 Season

Information for the annual banquet for the whole program (Varsity, JV, and Freshmen) is as follows:

Date: Tuesday, April 15th
Time: 6:30 pm
Where: SHHS Cafeteria
Cost: Players, Stats, Coaches are Free
Parents and supporters are $10 per person
Food: Catered by Domenico Jr's

We hope to see all of the basketball family for this event where our young men will be honored for their season.

Spring Basketball 2014

Spring Basketball will begin on 4/7 at Walnut Hs for the varsity team which will play 5 games there. Also Varsity will play at Rowland beginning on Saturday on 4/12 as well as Jv. So we hope to see all of you at our spring games.

Jeriko Santos All Valley

Congratulations go out to Jeriko Santos for making 2nd Team All Valley from the San Gabriel Valley Tribune and was selected to be an the All star game. Jeriko finishes his career at South Hills by scoring 6 points in the All Star game and beating the Pasadena Star News team.

2013 Banquet

This year banquet was a success the program had nearly 100 people in attendance. The night was full of memories honoring this year players and coaching staff. The food was catered by Qdoba and was fantastic the players and their families seem to really enjoy the evening. The theme of the basketball program all year had been family all season and it showed last night. The banquet end of the year awards ceremony will become a tradition for years to come. There was some awards handed out for the season.
